Gather up your 10 strongest friends or colleagues and join us on September 21st at the Fayette Pavilion for Fayetteville’s 4th Fire Truck Pull!\nTeams will be timed to pull the beast of a 50-foot fire truck with a rope.\n*There will be an Honorary “First Responder Pull Off” between our local fire department and police department for the Championship trophy.\nEach team is asked to donate $100 per team. ($10.00 Per Person)\nDon’t miss out on this family-friendly\, fun event! It’s not just a market; it’s where food\, music\, and art collide! \n What to Expect:\n Local vendors with everything from handcrafted goods to tasty treats! A diverse lineup of food trucks to curb tantalize your tastebuds! Live music to set the mood! Exclusive giveaways throughout the evening!\n\n\nMain Street Fayetteville Vendor Application Policy & Procedure \nIt’s important to note that being a vendor at an event does not automatically enroll you for subsequent dates. Each event date requires a separate application; prior participation does not guarantee acceptance. We limit the number of vendors in each category to ensure a diverse and rotating selection for our visitors each month. Some exceptions may apply depending on the event type and theme. \nPlease be aware that Main Street Fayetteville has the authority to disallow any vendor found in violation of city codes\, rules\, public safety\, or deemed inappropriate. \nVendors offering food services\, including food trucks and homemade food items\, must comply with state and county regulations\, which include obtaining valid permits\, such as cottage business permits\, alcohol licenses\, and passing health inspections. \nFood vendors specifically must obtain their permits from the Fayette County Department of Environmental Health (FCDEH)\, which is separate from City regulations. The FCDEH has the right to require a vendor to leave the event if the necessary permits are not obtained beforehand or if an inspection reveals unsafe handling\, preparation\, or serving of food or beverages. \nAt the Festival of Arts\, a maximum of 65 of the finest local\, regional\, and national artists\, with an emphasis on Fayette County and Georgian artists. All artist applicants will be selected by a jury of their peers based on the merit of their work and booth presentation. \nVendors will be contacted within 30 days of submitting your request. Vendors will receive an email if selected for each event\, and a payment (credit/debit card/check) will be necessary to secure your spot once approved; the vendor fee is $50.00 per market. Vendors not selected for an event will be placed on the master vendor spreadsheet to be considered for future events. \nRequesting to be a vendor does not guarantee that you will be selected for an event. You are hand-selected depending on the event theme\, type of event\, and type of products. \n\nProcedures:\n\nProspective vendors must complete an application on the Downtown Fayetteville website to be added to the vendor list.\nPriority will be given to vendors operating within the City of Fayetteville or Fayette County.\nVendors shall be selected for events based on the type of event\, capabilities of the vendor to provide the level of products and services for the event\, and vendor availability.\nWhen multiple vendors are available and equally qualified to provide products or services for an event\, the vendor shall be selected on a rotating basis when possible and fall under the guidelines in this policy.\nThe City of Fayetteville/ and or Main Street Fayetteville may remove vendors from the master list based on\, but not limited to:\n\nFailure to show up at the approved event without notification or multiple events with notification.\nNon-responsive to City notifications or information requests.\nArriving late or leaving early at a registered event.\nFailure to provide products or services promised.\nSelling products not included on the Vendor application.\nSelling products that are illegal or not otherwise approved for legal sale.\nSelling products that knowingly infringe upon copyrighted or patented items.\nDisplaying an abusive or disrespectful attitude towards the public\, other vendors\, city employees\, or volunteers.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have several vendor categories; the amount per category depends on the event location. Certain vendors with the same product type are restricted; see attached. \n\nFor example\, we will not allow BBQ at City Center Park because of Hogg Pitt BBQ. We will not allow a Pizza vendor at the courthouse square because of Anthony’s.
