SUMMARY:The Great Pumpkin Walk
DESCRIPTION:Main Street Fayetteville invites you to take part in a wonderful tradition for Downtown Fayetteville.\nAll Schools\, Churches\, Organizations\,/Businesses are invited to bring their pumpkins to the courthouse grounds.\nOn Monday\, October 20th\, starting at 8:00 a.m. Pumpkins must be in place by the end of the day on Tuesday\, October 21st. Also\, be sure that All Pumpkins have the Name on the Bottom of the Pumpkin and a Sign designating your School\, Church\, or Organization.\nThe deadline to turn in the registration form is October 1\, 2025.\nPumpkins will be displayed from Monday\, October 20th\, through Thursday\, October 30th. However\, Children may take their pumpkins home on Sunday\, October 26th.\nAll Unclaimed Pumpkins and Signs will be disposed of on Friday Morning\, October 31st.\nHundreds of visitors will “stroll” the historic square each evening\, marveling at the many creative pumpkins on display. You will certainly want to participate in this wonderful community tradition!\nPlease complete the registration form and return it before the deadline date. No problem! Join the “Wandering Scarecrows.” Once you register\, you’ll be assigned a location on the Historic Courthouse Lawn or at City Center Park.\n\n\nImportant Details:\n\n\nRegistration Deadline: October 10\n\n\nScarecrow Display Dates: October 27 – November 15\n\n\nVoting: The public will vote using our digital passport and QR codes (just like Restaurant Week!).\n\n\nAwards & Fun Extras:\n\n\nThe entry with the most votes will earn the People’s Choice Award and bragging rights for 2025!\n\n\nLast year’s winner was Awkward Brewing—who will take the crown this year? \n\n\nSelfie Contest: We’re bringing it back!
